Sucden publishes 2019 Responsibility Report

Sucden today published its second Responsibility Report, highlighting the breadth of actions towards its vision for sustainable growth.

The report details the clear focus of embedding responsibility in the company culture, through internal actions as well as through external commitments.

Sucden’s approach to corporate responsibility reflects its commitment to its participation in the Global Compact initiative. It is addressed under five key action areas: business practices, people, environment, supply chain and communities.

By aligning with the United Nations Sustainable Development Goals, Sucden aims to measure and report its sustainability journey. The document identifies key risks and opportunities, strategy and policies for each focus area, and highlights its achievements in 2019. The report is verified by external auditors and provides an overview of Sucden’s performance through key indicators and initiatives.

“We will continue to bring sustainability to the heart of our expansion by supporting pragmatic and efficient action, so that our people can be proud to be part of our family, connecting agricultural supply and demand, and creating long-lasting relationships with our partners”, says Serge Varsano, Chairman of Sucden.
